Product summary

Get the pans on with this Bosch Serie 2 built-in gas hob. The front left burner runs at 3000 Watts for getting a wok screaming hot, while the 1000 Watts burner at the front right holds a low flame for melting chocolate or warming a curry sauce. The rotary dials sit on the front right and have a raised centre, so you can twist from a rolling boil down to a gentle simmer without taking your eyes off the pan. Cast iron supports run across the whole enamelled surface to hold heavy pans steady, and if a flame ever blows out, the gas cut-off shuts off the supply straight away. Handy one for anyone keeping an eye on their gas setup, it will also run on biomethane as well as mains natural gas.

Product information

Hob type: Gas

If you like traditional cooking, gas hobs make a great choice since they have responsive controls. They deliver instant heat across the entire base of the pan for even, reliable cooking - ideal for creating that perfectly seared finish.

Heat efficiency: Heat efficiency

Each hob type varies in heat efficiency. Induction hobs heat only the pan base, avoiding energy waste. Ceramic hobs heat specific zones, while gas hobs use flames and lose some energy around the pan edges but heat up quickly.

Number of burners / zones: 4 burners / zones

The number of hob rings you’d like depends on how much space you think you’ll need. They can have as little as one, all the way up to eight.

Pan support type: Cast iron

Gas burners have pan supports to keep your cookware steady as you stir. Most models have pan supports made from durable cast iron, while others are made from enamel or stainless steel.

Power supply: Plug

Ready to upgrade your hob? Let’s make sure you’ve got the right power supply. If it’s a ceramic model, you’ll need it hardwiring by a qualified electrician. If it's induction model, most are also hardwired, but some come with a plug, you can infomation on the installation section of the product spec. Our engineers can disconnect and install your brand-new hob. Everything will be ready to go on delivery day.
